Battleship 20" 2019 BMX Freestyle Bike

The well-regarded German BMX brand, WeThePeople, produces some of the finest complete BMX bikes available, and the Battleship 2019 is no exception.

It features 20" wheels and a 20.75" top tube.

This setup, inspired by riders, derives from the second iteration of the popular WeThePeople Battleship frame, incorporating feedback from pro riders Dan Kruk and Jordan Goodwin. The distinctive hydroformed gussets reinforce the frame's construction, and the frame includes detachable pivots and guides for brake levers and cables.

As the most robust and durable frame in the collection, the Battleship and other components of this complete are well-aligned with the same high standard.

The Fork belongs to the Battleship series, featuring highly durable heat-treated Sanko tubing, a one-piece CNC cut steerer tube, and a 24mm offset.

Among the components, the headset, stem, and bar are Éclat parts.

The headset includes fully sealed bearings and a top load stem made from CNC machined alloy materials. With the addition of a 4-piece bar crafted from post-liquid heat-treated 4130 Chromoly materials, you have a top-tier front piece ready to go.

Yet, the Éclat excellence continues. The Battleship also showcases an Éclat 25T Sprocket, crafted from durable 6061-T6 alloy and featuring a nylon sprocket guard.

Both front and rear rims are Éclat "Bondi" models, characterized by flash-welded double wall rims with 36 holes. The fat padded pivotal seat and nylon/fibreglass pedals are also Éclat components affixed to this high-end complete.

The Battleship 2019 is equipped with WeThePeople's 165mm 8 spline tubular 3-piece Chromoly crank, accompanied by a 22mm fully sealed press fit bottom bracket. The rims are paired with a 9T Freecoaster hub, also by WeThePeople and featuring fully sealed bearings, optimizing fakie play.

Additionally, the Battleship includes a few SaltPlus components, such as the half link chain and the alloy brake lever. This implies the Battleship Complete Bike largely comprises Éclat and SaltPlus parts, integrated with WeThePeople elements.
