Base Kit Prep Ski Glide Wax

An all-encompassing glider kit for your cross-country skis.

Included:
Combi Brush
Graphite Glider (suitable for all temperatures)
Glider (Serves also for cleaning and saturation)
Scraper
Pencil Groove Scraper

1) Prepare the base structure: Apply the combi brush in the glider zones with 2-3 strokes.

2) Cleaning of previously used skis (New skis: Proceed to step 3): Apply an iron (available separately) to heat the glider in the glide zones. After the glider wax dries but remains warm, remove the glider using the scraper. Follow up by using the combi brush with 2-3 strokes in the glide zones.

3) Apply 2 layers of glider wax with an iron. Begin with one layer and allow the ski to cool down. Then, do the following steps:

a) Utilize the pencil groove scraper to clean the centre base guide
b) Remove the glide wax from the rest of the base using the scraper
c) Employ the combi brush with 2-3 strokes in the glider zones
d) Apply the second layer and let the skis cool before repeating the steps above once more.

4) Apply abrasion-resistant layer: Use an iron to incorporate a layer of graphite in the glider zones for enhanced abrasion resistance. Allow the skis to cool and proceed as follows:

a) Scrape the middle base guide with the pencil groove scraper
b) Scrape off the remaining base with the scraper
c) Use the combi brush and make approximately 15 strokes until the base is gleaming.
