Description
SHELL
Strength and support were the key considerations in the shell's design. Crafted from a special composite compound, it boasts a remarkable stiffness due to the inclusion of 25% fibreglass. Featuring a mounting distance of 165mm, it allows skaters to adjust the frames sideways to achieve the ideal skating stance.
PADDING
This skate incorporates a distinctive three-layer padding system: firmer foam externally, softer foam internally, and an additional 3-D latex foam around the ankle for optimal ankle and heel support with every stride. Beneath the lining, soft sponge foam is added for enhanced comfort and support. The outer padding's shape is maintained with a special heat mouldable chemical sheet.
LACING
This model utilizes micro mesh material alongside high-grade PU upper material. Regular lacing with plastic loops is employed for this skate by Powerslide. An additional 45° powerstrap secures the heel. Impeccable stitching quality and finely detailed finishing, complemented by a rear carrying strap, complete this excellent skate.
FRAME
The frame uses a two-piece construction, consisting of two separate aluminium 3-D stamped sidewalls joined by a robust mounting block. Its standard 165mm mounting fits numerous fitness skates available in the market.
TIRES & BEARINGS
The 6 ¼” air tires are produced by Kenda – a prominent tire manufacturer. They feature a sturdy 5-spoke rim, and the area surrounding the valve is covered with rim tape, a common feature in bicycle tires. These tires can be inflated to a maximum of 6.3 bar / 90 psi.
150mm Super High Rebound PU wheels can be purchased separately for skaters favouring asphalted roads, offering increased speed.
BRAKE
The Powerslide calf brake allows extensive customization according to individual preferences and skating skills, ensuring a secure feeling and optimal braking performance. The brake pad can be adjusted in all directions and even angled. The height adjustment function enables skaters to choose their preferred braking position, whether with straighter or more bent legs. Replacement of the pad is simple when it becomes worn. The skate is equipped with only one brake system.
