• Seam reinforcements

To bolster stress points inside the wetsuit, Ion has added Melco tape for extra durability. Ion advises: “If you accidentally leave the suit in the trunk of your car on a hot day, some peeling might occur. Don’t worry! Use an iron gently on the affected area—the glue is heat-activated.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits shaped to body contours promise improved flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits include this contour cut design.

• Drain Holes

To prevent water build-up in places where fabric overlaps, drain holes have been added. These drain holes will not expand.

• Leg Loop

At the base of the legs, detachable velcro loops prevent water ingress from below the wetsuit.
