Yxr Optigrip 2.1 Classic Cross Country Skis

The YXR series stands out as world-class racing skis, featuring exceptional structural innovations crafted from the finest materials available, combined with an optimal design. They excel in uphill ascent and provide outstanding stability on descents and rough terrain, with a medium-hard stiffness.

The YXR Optigrip 2.1 ski is grip-coated, designed specifically for challenging and moist conditions when temperatures are near zero. The Optigrip coating is applied to the soft base in the midsection of the ski, eliminating the need for kick zone wax. However, the tip and tail sections require normal waxing with glider wax. To slightly expand the range of use and enhance grip in critical conditions, the kick zone area can be gently abraded with sandpaper.
