Federal's Motion Freecoaster hub incorporates an innovative custom clutch mechanism that uses a nylon spring. This setup demands less upkeep compared to the traditional spring and ball configuration. The new nylon spring also diminishes drag, enabling faster runs and smoother crank flips.

It includes sealed bearings, 14mm male axles, and two grind-ready hubguards.
