I've bailed on them a couple of times, and they do the job. They're also dialed-in comfortable; the straps provide a snug, comfortable fit, and they're easy to throw on and off.B. I bought the XL size because I have proportionally large hands (I’m 192 cm tall, though I’m pretty slim), but they might be a bit too big since there’s a lot of excess strap flapping around. I’ve taken a few slams so far, and I’m really glad I decided to get these. Worth the investment. SkatePro has awesome shipping, by the way!
P.S. A tip for skaters: get soccer shin guards or slimmer shin guards too, especially if you’re a beginner. It’s totally worth it to avoid all those bumps and scrapes on your shins all the time.
