Scootering: A Sport for All Ages and Abilities
Scootering is an enjoyable sport suitable for people of all age groups and skill levels. Riding a scooter provides excellent cardio exercise and helps develop your leg muscles and core. Additionally, scootering enhances your balance and coordination, benefiting other sports and activities. While kick scooters were invented in the 1920s, modern aluminum scooters only gained popularity in the 90s.
Pro Scooters Are Designed for Tricks
Pro scooters, also known as trick scooters, are typically used in skateparks, urban areas, and parking lots. These scooters are engineered for tricks and aggressive riding, making them more durable under pressure and wear. Consequently, modern pro scooters are designed to be lightweight yet sturdy. Customizing trick scooters is common, whether you need to replace worn-out parts or want to add a personal touch. Generally, pro scooters cannot be folded.
Big Wheel Scooters Offer Convenient Transportation
For transportation, we recommend scooters with large wheels, with a diameter of 120 mm or more. These scooters, often referred to as commuter scooters, are usually designed for adults seeking a fun and healthy way to navigate the city. Kids’ scooters typically fall into this category and come with either two or three wheels. Big-wheeled scooters can often be folded, making them easy to carry on public transport or to work or school. Large wheels offer excellent directional stability and can handle bumps and small cracks in the road.
