I also had a problem with the size, as this is only measured once directly at the elbow. According to the table, I'm in the upper range of size L at 28.5cm. However, it is too wide, especially on the upper arm, and I will try again with a size M. So if the biceps circumference is not significantly larger than the elbow, it's better to take a size smaller than indicated.
