The bottom is made of mesh, which isn't great when the bag is packed with about 15 kg of board + accessories. It's very uncomfortable to carry such an unstable bag, even for short distances. The board itself is good in the water as long as it's not windy/wavy, otherwise the front end causes waves to wash over the edge and makes it difficult to move forward (a board with a slightly upward-angled front end performs MUCH better). The carry handle on the board is quite uncomfortable to grip; it’s molded from the same material as the rest of the deck and feels a bit “sharp.” Another minus is that a leash isn’t included in the package. However, the paddle is very good, and the deck-rigging rope for securing gear is dialed because it’s tight with tons of metal eyelets. Nice big backpack with plenty of room for fins, pump, paddle, buoyancy vests, etc. Stays nicely in the water even with an adult, an 8-year-old, and a 13-year-old on the board at the same time!
