I was looking for an upgrade from my beginner aluminum poles after classic skiing for a few years now. After much consideration I ordered a pair of One/Way Storm 4s only to have Fischer cancel my order due to lack of inventory. So, I took a risk on these Longways seeing that they were 100% carbon, had a cork handle and harness style straps sized to the length of the pole (160cm w/ large strap for me). They are great! Rigidity is excellent, very light, and handles, strap, basket and carbide tip are all of good construction. Baskets are a little atypical in that they angle down sharply, but work great on groomed trails. Also, if you think Leki XC poles are ugly (how many logos can we fit on a pole!? 5? 6?), these are a simple flat blue/grey with minimal graphics. For the price especially, these poles are really working for me. Recommended.

Thank you, Skate Pro, for an exceptional pair of carbon poles and an exceptional value. One star deducted for my poles not shipping-- an issue which I had to bring to your attention-- 3 weeks after I had purchased them.

Great value for this poles. My only issue and why not 5 stars is the small straps I didn't see an option to order sizes. Size says medium. I can't fasten the Velcro because the strap is too short. Hard to get a gloved hand in.

Nice, lightweight poles for a decent price. Cork grips are great. The size S straps are too small for me if I have gloves on (and I am a woman with relatively small hands). I was able to extend the velcro closure with extra velcro pieces so I can use them.

I am ordering a second pair of these poles. I was going to wait until next season to get the Rossignol Force 10, but for an extra $200, there is little difference. Unless you are competing at the national level, these poles will be great for you.
