DPS describes the Wailer 99 as a loyal daily driver. This is an apt description for these skis with a 99mm width underfoot, crafted using the Foundation construction.
The Foundation construction is composed of a combination of carbon, bamboo, poplar, and fibreglass. With a bamboo and poplar core sandwiched between layers of carbon strings and triaxial fibreglass, it offers an excellent mix of power and dampness—ideal qualities for tackling a wide range of snow conditions, including hard pack, crud, and soft, deep snow.
Featuring the Flat Tail design, the Wailer 99 Foundation boasts a long effective edge that ensures strong grip, allowing for even more powerful carving.
