Mission's Turret Integrated Headset boasts a smooth performance while being available at a highly reasonable price. It includes fully sealed Campy spec bearings along with a taller dust cap for a sleek appearance.
This headset is mainly designed for BMX bikes. If you're thinking of applying it to your scooter, be aware that the top cap is too lengthy for HIC compression, which means the compression bolt will not reach the necessary area.
Jason ScottDartmouth, CanadaVerified Buyer5 of 5Great quality and priceKoen EversWijgmaal, BelgiumVerified Buyer2 of 5The diameter of the top cap is 4.58 cm (1.8") and is too wide for a gyro. The diameter of a head tube is normally about 4.50 cm (1.77"). I used an old Salt top cap, and the gyro works perfectly with it. Otherwise, everything was fine.Reply from SkateProThank you for taking the time to provide such helpful feedback regarding the fact that the top cap of the Mission Turret Integrated Headset is slightly wider than a standard headtube diameter and therefore causes space issues for a gyro. We’re glad you’re happy with the rest of the headset. Enjoy your ride :) //Your SkatePro TeamKIKE LISO CUADRADOVitoria-Gasteiz, SpainVerified Buyer5 of 5Very good!KOBE ALEXANDER CUDMOREBrantford, CanadaVerified Buyer1 of 5Not a fan of this headset not as advertisedReply from SkatePro Hi Kobe, thank you for taking your time to give us feedback.
