SNS Interface Adapter II

A useful adapter plate allows you to use SNS bindings on skis that come with a pre-installed NIS plate (NIS plates are pre-mounted on certain skis. NIS generally caters to NNN bindings).

We always suggest mounting bindings directly onto your skis to ensure the most accurate power transfer. The Salomon SNS Interface Adapter II is designed primarily for recreational skiing. For optimal performance in race and competitive skiing, the binding should be mounted directly on the skis.

As for the Prolink binding from Salomon, this adapter is unnecessary—you can mount it by drilling directly into the NIS plate using the screws provided with the Prolink binding.
