Alex: While spontaneity is crucial, initial planning proves beneficial! We found that choosing routes with good roads makes a substantial impact on your overall experience and pace. Avoid overplanning accommodations to maintain flexibility. Surprisingly, 50 kilometers on a longboard feels much longer! Traveling light is essential as my 14kg backpack quickly seemed cumbersome. Opt for a smaller, lighter load.

Capacity is also limited, affecting what you can carry. Injuries are a real risk, progress might feel slow, and some areas can seem monotonous!

Alex: We definitely plan to do this again, albeit not immediately due to sore legs. Nonetheless, I aim to relive and create new memories of this enriching time.
