First step: Installing your fork and headset
- Place the first bearing onto the fork
- Insert the fork into the deck's head tube
- Position the other bearing in the upper bearing cup
- Fit the C-ring into the headset
- Attach the headset top cap
Second step: Installing the HIC scooter compression
- Position the shim on the fork
- Proceed by attaching the HIC top cap tightly
- Ensure it is snug. Great job!
Grease: Using grease during the assembly of metal components simplifies the process and extends component longevity. When installing HIC compression, it's advised to apply a bit of grease on both bearing cups and on the threading of the HIC top cap.
