Purchasing Scooter Griptape

The goal of using griptape on pro scooters is to enhance traction and control over the deck. It resembles a large sticker with sandpaper on its surface.

Regular replacement of griptape is necessary, especially when it becomes worn out, losing its sand texture, or when significant pieces are missing. Exposure to water and moisture significantly reduces the lifespan of griptape.

The griptape available at SkatePro is generally pre-cut to fit pro scooters in a common size, but some are intended for skateboards and need to be cut by yourself.

Ensure all old griptape is removed and the deck is meticulously cleaned before applying new griptape.
