Originating in the United States, Karakoram is known for crafting superior splitboard and snowboard bindings. Designed for both resort and off-piste conditions, the brand aims to initiate a fresh phase of backcountry innovation.

Established in 2008 in Washington State, Karakoram was the brainchild of twin brothers who sought to merge their engineering expertise with their mutual love for the slopes. Frustrated by the limited splitboard gear options at that time, they were driven to produce the finest equipment available.

Karakoram is committed to maintaining local production, with nearly all components sourced within Washington. Each binding is meticulously assembled by hand in their own shop. The company's team designs and constructs each piece of gear as though it were their personal project.
