Pro Scooter Pegs
Uses for Pro Scooter Pegs
Cylindrical in shape, pro scooter pegs are components that can be mounted to the wheels of a pro scooter. They enable riders to execute various grinds, stalls, and jumps, which are otherwise unattainable on scooters lacking pegs. Available in different lengths, these pegs can be crafted from metal or plastic materials.
Utilizing Scooter Pegs
You can install pro scooter pegs on either the front or rear wheel axles of a peg-cut deck. Riders typically prefer to attach two pegs on one side, as they favour using one side for tricks over the other.
When grinding on rails or boxes, it's important to hop onto the obstacle, landing with the front, back, or both pegs on the grinding surface. Completing the trick involves hopping off and rolling away. Numerous variations exist, expanding the trick repertoire. Other peg tricks, involving greater foot usage, include nose and tail manuals, along with various jumps and spins.
While most trick scooter pegs include a mounting bolt, remember that compatibility isn't universal. The pegs typically feature an 8 mm axle diameter—matching your scooter's original axle diameter is essential. It's beneficial to purchase pegs, deck, and fork from the same brand to improve compatibility.
