The Shadow Chula Top Load stem is a signature product by Lahsaan Kobza. His vision was to achieve a racing aesthetic while ensuring the stem’s durability for both street and park use. Additionally, Lahsaan Kobza desired a stem with greater height than typical options available, which is why the Chula stem is roughly 8mm taller than many other top load stems. In most situations, this design choice reduces the need for headset spacers.
